HOW TO USE BANG BANG ONION (CỦ NÉN)
You can use củ nén in a variety of ways. Here are three of our favorite ways to use or rehydrate this classic Vietnamese herb.
- A great substitute for garlic or shallot! Rehydrate the herbs by letting them bloom in water for 1-2 minutes then drain excess water.
-
Cooking tip:
- If skipping rehydration, begin cooking with low heat to prevent burning.
- Use to marinate any seafood dishes as the herbs help remove the fishy taste.
Please note this product cooks quickly with the heat on. If using multiple herbs, prepare them separately as they have different cooking times.
